1191 the Animal Cruelty and Abuse bill is now on Governor Haslam's desk
awaiting his signature. Please contact the Governor's office and urge
him to sign this bill which provides protection to responsible farmers,
ranchers and other livestock producers.
The bill amends TCA
Title 39 and Title 44. The bill requires a person who records cruelty to
animals as committed against livestock to report such violation and
submit any unedited photographs or video recordings to law enforcement
authorities within 24 hours of the photographs or video recording
creation.
